In a genre-bending concert, the Duquesne Choirs explore the rich intersection between historical and contemporary choral music. This performance features Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaw’s 2016 composition, “To the Hands”, with Pittsburgh’s own Kassia Ensemble (https://www.kassiaensemble.com), an ensemble dedicated gender and racial representation in classical chamber music.
