Passionate about conductor education and leadership development, Caron founded the Halifax Choral Conducting Institute in 2012. In 2019, the HCCI inaugurated a Women’s Conducting Intensive, the first of its kind in Canada. From 2017-26, Caron has led Choral Kaleidoscope at Duquesne University, a conducting working for all levels of choral practitioners. She regularly gives workshops/clinics to conductors including recent events at Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, University of Minnesota, and the American Choral Directors Association Eastern division and Pennsylvania conferences.
