Passionate about conductor education and leadership development, Caron founded the Halifax Choral Conducting Institute in 2012. In 2019, the HCCI inaugurated a Women’s Conducting Intensive, the first of its kind in Canada. From 2017-21, Caron led Choral Kaleidoscope at Duquesne University, an institute for conductors at all levels in partnership with the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh. She has given workshops/clinics to conductors and choirs across North America, including serving as conducting clinician for the 2024 ACDA Eastern Division Graduate Conducting Masterclass in Providence, RI.
